The RocketBrush Team is looking for a 2D Generalist Artist to work on various studio projects.
Right now the studio has a bit over 90 artists working in our art outsourcing department and we all work remotely and know how to do it right: everybody plans their own working day, has a chance to communicate with any of their colleagues, and go through any of our many qualification growth courses designed specifically for the digital artists. Qualification levels
From Middle to Expert. Salaries are shown in a range because each artist’s final salary may vary depending on hours worked during each month. Some of our employees prefer to work less and some to work more.
Middle
$700 - 1500
- Does not require detailed feedback from Lead Artists. Independent in their work.
- Feels confident and proficient working with several different styles popular in GameDev industry
Senior
$1200 - 2200
- Works confidently with a wide range of different styles: from causal icons to realistic characters
- Monitors the quality of the other artists, provides feedback and draw overs, and takes responsibility for the project quality
Expert
$1500 - 2900
- Has many years of experience working with game art and abilities to draw quickly and efficiently for a wide range of styles
- Good memory bank of different style examples, sharp sense of perspective, colors, composition, and good knowledge of anatomy.
- Strong quality control skills in CG, ability to pull up a team to their level.
General Requirements**:**
- Adobe Photoshop proficiency
- Portfolio with relevant 2D art examples
- Ability to adapt to project style
- Willingness to accept feedback and work on improving skills
- Willingness to work more than 25h a week
- Stable internet connection
